10月に入り、秋も少しずつ深まってきましたね。
私たちの拠点である長野県でも、木々の葉が少しずつ色づき始め、山々が美しい紅葉に包まれる季節が近づいてきました。
今回は、そんな秋の長野県を代表する美しい景勝地、上高地で撮影させていただいたサプライズプロポーズをご紹介します。
大切な想いを伝える場所に、上高地を
今回ご依頼いただいたのは、日本にお住まいのアメリカ出身のお客様。
お二人にとって思い出のある温泉地への旅行とあわせて、初めて訪れる上高地で、大切なパートナーにプロポーズをしたいとご相談をいただきました。
ご連絡をいただいたのは、撮影の約2ヶ月前。
お二人のことや、どんなプロポーズにしたいのかを伺いながら、撮影場所や当日の流れについて、何度もやり取りを重ねてきました。
初めて訪れる場所での、一生に一度の大切な瞬間。
その想いをできる限り理想の形で残せるように、私自身も当日を心待ちにしながら準備を進めてきました。
青空と美しい山々に見守られた、特別な瞬間
10月の上高地は、早朝になると冬のような冷え込みになることもあります。
そんな寒さの中で迎えた撮影当日。
空には気持ちのよい青空が広がり、目の前には朝の光に照らされた美しい山々。
思わず見惚れてしまうほどの景色が、私たちを迎えてくれました。
そして、いよいよプロポーズの瞬間。
雄大な山々を背景に、大切な想いが伝えられました。
驚きと喜び、そして涙に幸せいっぱいの感情が。
その瞬間を夢中で撮影していると、なんと、パートナーからもサプライズが！
実はお二人とも、お互いに内緒でプロポーズを準備されていたのです。
まさかのダブルプロポーズ！
お互いを想う気持ちが重なった、あまりにも素敵な瞬間でした。
その場に立ち会えたことが本当に嬉しくて、撮影していた私まで胸がいっぱいに。
何度思い返しても、自然と笑顔になってしまうような、忘れられない時間となりました。
上高地の美しい自然と、お二人らしい時間
プロポーズの後は、上高地の自然の中を歩きながら、記念撮影を楽しみました。
雄大な山々を望む河原や、木々に囲まれた小道、静かに広がる湿原。
少し歩くだけで景色が移り変わり、その場所ごとに異なる美しさを見せてくれる上高地。
そんな風景の中で、お二人は終始幸せそうに笑い合い、ときには顔を見合わせながら、
自然体で過ごしてくださいました。
手をつないで歩く姿も、ふとした瞬間に交わす視線も、そっと抱きしめ合う姿も。
一つひとつの仕草から、お互いを大切に想う気持ちが伝わってきます。
特別なポーズをしなくても、ただ一緒にいるだけで、お二人の間には優しく温かな空気が流れていました。
その自然な姿が本当に美しくて、私も幸せな気持ちに包まれながらシャッターを切り続けました。
プロポーズという一生に一度の思い出
撮影した写真を見返していると、あの日の澄んだ空気や、山々の美しさ、
そしてお二人の幸せそうな表情が鮮やかによみがえってきます。
何より印象に残っているのは、お互いを想い合うお二人の姿。
言葉や表情、何気ない仕草の一つひとつに、愛情があふれていました。
写真を通して、そんなお二人の優しい気持ちまで残せていたら、これほど嬉しいことはありません。
何年、何十年と時が経っても、写真を見返すたびに、この日の喜びや感動を思い出していただけたらと思います。
この度は、お二人にとってかけがえのない大切な瞬間を、Toloccaにお任せいただきまして本当にありがとうございました。

Autumn is slowly arriving in Nagano, Japan.
The leaves are beginning to change color, and the mountains are preparing for one of the most beautiful seasons of the year.
Today, we’d love to share a very special surprise proposal we photographed in Kamikochi, one of Japan’s most breathtaking mountain destinations.
Planning a Special Proposal in Kamikochi
Our client, who is originally from the United States and now lives in Japan, contacted us about two months before the proposal.
They were planning a trip to a hot spring town that held special memories for them and wanted to make the journey even more meaningful by proposing to their partner in Kamikochi.
It would be their first time visiting this beautiful place.
Over the next two months, we exchanged messages, got to know their story, and carefully planned the location and timing to make sure everything would go smoothly.
We could feel how much thought and love had gone into this surprise, and we were so excited to be part of it.
An Unforgettable Morning in the Japanese Alps
October mornings in Kamikochi can be incredibly cold, almost like winter.
But on the day of the proposal, we were welcomed by a perfectly clear blue sky and breathtaking views of the Japanese Alps.
The mountains looked absolutely beautiful in the morning light.
It was everything our client had hoped for.
And then, the moment finally arrived.
Surrounded by the magnificent mountains, our client got down on one knee and proposed.
The surprise, the smiles, and the happiness on their faces were unforgettable.
But just when I thought the moment couldn’t get any more special, something amazing happened.
Their partner had also been secretly planning a proposal!
Neither of them knew what the other had prepared.
Two surprise proposals, on the very same morning, in the same beautiful place.
I was so surprised and moved that I could hardly contain my excitement, even while taking photographs!
It was one of those moments that reminds me why I love being a photographer.
Capturing Their Love in the Beauty of Kamikochi
After the proposals, we spent some time exploring Kamikochi together and taking photographs surrounded by nature.
We walked along peaceful forest paths, beautiful riversides, and quiet wetlands, with the magnificent mountains rising behind us.
Every location offered a different view, and the scenery seemed to change with every step.
But what made the photographs truly special was the connection between the two of them.
The way they held hands, looked at each other, laughed together, and shared little moments of happiness.
There was so much love in every gesture.
Nothing needed to be forced or perfectly posed.
They were simply enjoying being together, and that was more than enough.
I felt so grateful to capture those natural, beautiful moments.
A Memory to Treasure Forever
Looking back at the photographs, I can still remember the clear mountain air, the beautiful morning light, and most of all, the happiness they shared.
What stays with me is not only the incredible scenery, but the genuine love and care they showed for each other.
I hope these photographs will always bring them back to that special morning in Kamikochi, even many years from now.
